AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT: Defendant ran stop sign and broadsided Plaintiffs' in driver’s door, which cost $2,000 to repair. Plaintiffs' suffered bi-lateral TMJ which required bi-lateral surgery. Plaintiff also claimed C4/5 and C5/6 herniated discs, lumbar radiculapathy and severe depression. Plaintiffs’ past medical expenses totaled $58,000 and future meds projected at $150,000. Plaintiffs’ Doctors Andrew Landman (Ortho), Andrew Slavin (TMJ Surgeon), Timothy O’Higgins (Psychologist), all opined that Plaintiff was permanently injured in accident. Defense Doctors Steven Block (Neuro), Jeffrey Penner (Ortho), Dr. Michael Mauck(TMJ) all opined Plaintiff was not permanently injured in accident. Plaintiff asked for jury to award $300,000.
Verdict for Plaintiff. $16,250
