Jamie Nicosia was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where she attended and graduated from Highland Park High School.
After receiving her high school diploma, Ms. Nicosia attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas where she received a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, Ms. Nicosia completed an internship working for The Law Office of Gary Bledsoe, a civil rights law firm.
After graduating from St. Edward’s, Ms. Nicosia attended St. Thomas University School of Law, Class of 2010. After completing her first year of law school, Ms. Nicosia participated in the University of Miami’s study abroad program in the summer of 2008. During this trip, Ms. Nicosia studied international law throughout Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Greece, and Turkey. During her second year of law school, Ms. Nicosia was accepted to a judicial internship at the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida where she drafted court orders for the Honorable Judge Ana Gardiner. Throughout her final year of law school and following the passing of the Florida Bar Examination, Ms. Nicosia worked as a law clerk for Rudd & Diamond, P.A.
In May 2010, Ms. Nicosia received her Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law. Throughout her law school career, she received the Dean’s List award for three semesters. Following the passing of the July 2010 administration of the Florida Bar Examination, in October of 2010, Ms. Nicosia joined Rudd & Diamond, P.A. as an associate.
